Ordinance AO 2025-133 would place a 3 percent sales and use tax on the ballot, with revenue divided among property-tax relief, public safety and infrastructure, plus childcare and housing. Resolution AR 2025-359 appropriates up to $590,000 from the Areawide General Fund and $585,000 from the Building Safety Fund for permit software in the Development Services Department. The assembly also adopted 2026 legislative priorities that include a request for $2 million toward predevelopment work on a proposed Waste to Energy facility.
